Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

RULES OF MANUSCRIPTS TO THE JOURNAL SCIENCE-TECHNOLOGY POLICY AND MANAGEMENT

The Journal “Science-Technology Policy and Management” is the official press organization of the field. The Journal is in the list of specialized scientific journals and the published papers provide the score as scientific research works.

1. Main lines of activities of the Journal

 Publication of research results and advances by local/international scientists and administrators in field of science-technology policy and management.

  • Exchanges of science-technology management experiences and policy planning works conducted domestically and overseas.
  • Introduction and exchange on science-technology policies.

 2. Rules for manuscript submission

Manuscripts should be prepared in Vietnamese or English using Times New Roman font and size of 13. The volume of manuscript is to be from 10 to 15 pages of A4 sheet.

  • The author(s) is (are) to assure that the manuscript presents the outcomes of research works conducted by the author(s) and/or co-author(s) which were not yet published in other journals/magazines.
  • The manuscripts should use the regular scientific terms and measurement units legally issued by the State authority agencies of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or regularly used in the related fields.
  • The manuscripts should not be returned to the author(s) if they are not accepted for publication.

3. Rules for manuscripts

  •  Manuscripts should have the abstract which provides the main content of the paper and not exceed 300 words.
  • Key words not exceeding 5 groups of words are made in Vietnamese or English (subject to the used language of the manuscript)
  • Manuscripts should be accompanied with maps, schemes, drawings and tables. The name of maps, schemes and drawings is provided under the figures while the name of tables are provided above the tables.
  • References should provide fully the following information.

    • For books: Name(s) of the author(s) or chief author(s). Year of publication.  Name of book. Name of publishing house. Number of pages.

    • For journals/magazines: Name(s) of the author(s). Year of publication. "Name of paper". Name of journal/magazine, Number of volume. Number of issue, pages. Only the documents referenced in the manuscripts are to be listed. 

4. Procedure of manuscript review

  • Manuscripts get a code number and are booked for following-up purpose.
  • Manuscripts are to be sent to two reviewers for independent and close remarks and consideration.
  • For manuscripts reported as accepted, on basis of returned remarks and recommendations by reviewers, the Editorial Board will contact the author(s) for further improvement as recommended by reviewers. The Editorial Board will inform the author(s) of those manuscripts which are not accpted for publication.

 5. Copyright rules

Manuscripts (including their abstracts) submitted to the Journal are under the copyrights of the Journal. The author(s) have no rights to submit them for publication in other journals/magazines.
