Xây dựng hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp đổi mới sáng tạo (ĐMST) và tạo điều kiện để hệ sinh thái phát triển bền vững là vấn đề nhận được sự quan tâm sâu sắc của các chính phủ cũng như giới học thuật những năm gần đây, đặc biệt là trong bối cảnh cuộc CMCN 4.0 đang tạo nên những cơ hội và thách thức mới cho tất cả các quốc gia. Việc hệ thống hóa lại những khái niệm cơ bản sẽ giúp các nhà nghiên cứu, hoạch định chính sách có cái nhìn rõ ràng hơn về việc xây dựng hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp dựa trên ĐMST. Sau khi cung cấp những khái niệm cơ bản, bàn luận những đặc trưng về hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp ĐMST, tác giả đề cập đến kinh nghiệm của các quốc gia trong việc xây dựng hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp ĐMST và một số gợi suy cho việc xây dựng hệ sinh thái khởi nghiệp ĐMST Việt Nam dưới dạng các câu hỏi nghiên cứu.
