Hệ thống đổi mới sáng tạo ở Đan Mạch được coi là hình mẫu của một khuôn khổ có cấu trúc và phối hợp tốt, kết hợp hiệu quả tầm nhìn xa của Chính phủ, nghiên cứu học thuật và kiến thức chuyên môn trong ngành. Sức mạnh của Hệ thống đổi mới sáng tạo của Đan Mạch không chỉ nằm ở đầu tư tài chính mà còn ở quan hệ đối tác chiến lược công - tư đã trở thành đặc điểm nổi bật trong chính sách của Đan Mạch. Cách tiếp cận hợp tác này rất quan trọng để chuyển giao hiệu quả kiến thức dựa trên nghiên cứu sang các ứng dụng xã hội và liên doanh thương mại. Bài viết này tổng hợp một số thành phần chính của Hệ thống đổi mới sáng tạo của Đan Mạch và chỉ ra một số bài học kinh nghiệm mà Việt Nam có thể tham khảo để có thể kết hợp thúc đẩy phát triển Hệ thống đổi mới sáng tạo với phát triển kinh tế đất nước.
