Mục tiêu của bài báo nhằm tổng kết một số phương pháp đánh giá trình độ công nghệ phổ biến và kết quả mà chúng có thể đưa ra, từ đó giúp các nhà quản lý cũng như các nhà nghiên cứu có thể xác định được mỗi phương pháp có thể đáp ứng mong muốn của họ như thế nào.
