International experiences in institutionalizing legal provisions on science, technology, and innovation organizations in national legislation

Comprehensively and clearly institutionalizing legal provisions on science, technology, and innovation (STI) organizations serves as the legal foundation for effectively managing these entities. This article focuses on analyzing the role of institutionalizing legal regulations concerning STI organizations in statutory documents, clarifying the legal approaches adopted by countries such as South Korea, Japan, and Russia toward STI organizations. Based on this analysis, the article draws lessons learned for Vietnam in the process of improving its institutional framework for science, technology, and innovation in general, and for STI organizations in particular.
